ABOUT

GÁVEA is a non-profit R&D laboratory, functionally dependent on the Information Systems Department of the University of Minho. It brings together several specialists from different areas - Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Management Informatics, Economics, Management and Statistics - and its operational objectives are to facilitate the production and circulation of information between different stakeholders: Universities, Suppliers, Users and Public Institutes and Private; interpret and analyze technological trends; bring Universities closer to other organizations and society.

Promote the study and development of the Information and Knowledge Society in Portugal, contributing to a better understanding of its realities, trends and promotion of R&D projects.
